So. Where shall I begin? There's no point for excessive detail because it has already been done by *
systemic.
The show was amazing. There was a great lineup of bands. Bleeding Through was good but the keyboarder Marta was indeed distracting. She was just so beautiful. Dave took a few pictures of her so we shall see how they turn out.
Arch Enemy I must say was exceptionally good. The singer has a crazy metal voice. I was thoroughly enjoying the show amongst the mass of diehard moshers close to the front until it became somewhat chaotic. Long story short I got knocked to the ground. All I remember is myself on the floor and something hitting my head.(someone stepping on me I presume) I can remember the sudden blow to the head and the ringing sound that precedes afterwards. For awhile there was no gap from where I had fallen. Just people trampling on top of me. I struggled to get myself up but was unable to move so I just gave up and let myself become limp, let myself succumb to whatever was to happen. Eventually I felt a hand and reached for it at found myself getting pulled up by Dave and other strangers. I never felt so glad to be standing again. Dave asked me if I wanted to get out of the crowd but I insisted on staying. I moved myself to the front until I was just one person away from being against the rail. I slipped my hands through the arms of the people in front of me and held onto the rail for pretty much the rest of the show.
Arch Enemy had finished and it is now intermission. The security guard saw my fangs and pointed them out to everyone around me. Kind of awkward but flattering at the same time.
And now the important part. Cradle of Filth comes on stage. The moment everyone has been anticipating. The show started with Guilded Cunt which was fucking awesome. What more can one ask for? Dan was amazing as always dressed in a meshy shirt and hardcore boots. His dreads flying about. It was amazing seeing them so close. They played alot of their older stuff which struck me as odd because I figured they would play mostly their new album Nymphetamine. They did manage to play nympetamine the song and Sarah's voice was somewhat synthesized to sound more like Liv I do believe. The only problem was that Dan was upset about something and kept on going slightly off stage to get his connections adjusted.
But all in all It was an amazing show.
